Affixed as a wall pocket mount on hinge pull side with a standard track arm, LCN 4000T Series Closers are designed for use with a Sentronic® SEM 7850 Series wall magnet, to control the fire and smoke barrier doors.
The Sentronic® SEM 7800 Series Magnet tri-voltage design provides 35 pounds of holding force. The magnet is fail-safe and will hold the door until the current is interrupted, typically used in fire alarm applications. All magnets but the Sentronic® SEM 7820 Series are suitable for pocket door installation.
Double heat-treated pinions are used in LCN door closers to provide extra strength and reduce fatigue so that the hardware can deliver consistent performance and withstand high-abuse applications.
