4210 / 4510 Smoothee® Series Closers
The heavy duty 4210/4510 Smoothee Series Closers meet ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 standards, American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and are UL and cUL listed for self-closing doors without with regular or fusible link arms for self-closing doors. The closers also boast a 30-year limited warranty.
A choice of finishes and cylinder functions meet correctional and vandal-resistant requirements. Materials include a high-strength cast iron cylinder, a one-piece forged steel piston, a double-heat-treated pinion, all-weather fluid, tamper-resistant regulating screws and a high-efficiency, full-complement, low-friction bearing.
Concealed Heavy Duty Closers
The 2210 Series meets ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1, meets the American Disabilities Act (ADA) reduced opening force requirements and is UL and cUL listed for self-closing doors, Grade 1. It is backed by a 15-year limited warranty.
The high-strength cast iron cylinder mounts in the head frame. Materials include a one-piece forged steel piston; double-heat-treated pinion; high-efficiency, full-complement low-friction bearings; tamper-resistant regulating screws; and all-weather fluid.
Double heat-treated pinions are used in LCN door closers to provide extra strength and reduce fatigue so that the hardware can deliver consistent performance and withstand high-abuse applications.
